I booked a late holiday on the Internet with My Travel (Airtours).I checked the baggage allowance on their webpage and weighed my luggage accordingly 20KG per person.Because of late booking I picked up my tickets at the airport.The baggage allowance on the ticket showed only 15KG allowance per person.Their was no information when I booked on the website that the allowance would have been reduced otherwise I would of booked with another company as we were on vacation for two weeks.We were charged £24 excess going out and were targeted coming back and charged 78Euro.We were ordered to put all of our baggage on the scales coming back including our cabin luggage 5KG allowance each and also our 2 litres of duty free spirit.The whole weight of this luggage was 53KG.Any other operater would have allowed 20KG hold per perspn 5KG cabin per person + duty free spirits.After complaining to Airtours their MR good relations Flanagan,would not agree to a refund as we had booked Sundeal and not a Starbuy holiday.NO difference was shown on their webpage to this effect so we all have to be psychic to know what weight we have to put on our bloody bathroom scales.BEWARE OF THIS HAPPENING TO YOU !
