American Airlines lost luggage and so rude

On 10-21-2007, I flew on AA1783 from IAD (Dulles airport) to DFW (Dallas Fort Worth). Unexplicably the flight was delayed 70 minutes and even with the extra time on hand American Airlines managed to lose my 1 bag. I waited in DFW at the baggage claim for 1 hour before anyone was able to tell me that the bag was lost. They gave me a phone number (1800 535 5225) but my cell phone was dead and the charger was in the lost bag. Fortunately my husband called from home and spoke to Phyllis.
Phyllis told my husband that the claim had to be made by me. When my husband informed her I was unable to at that time she cut him off and said her job was to only get the info from me. When my husband asked for a complaint number she referred only to the website, would not give any identifier (last name, id number) and simply hung up the phone without saying anything. Pretty rude considering I am the one who should be short tempered and not her.
